With the Matter Multi-Admin feature, you can share and control your tado° X devices across multiple ecosystems and voice assistants. This means that your family members or household residents can control your tado° X devices using the digital assistant or smartphone app of their choice. The last command given will take precedence across all systems.

Note: once your tado° X device is added to the tado° Matter fabric via the tado° app, the Matter QR code is no longer valid. If you need to link the device to a third-party Matter app afterward, you’ll need to use the numeric code from the tado° app. To find the code:
Open the tado° app.
Go to Settings > Rooms and Devices.
Select Matter device linking for each device.
If you add your tado° X device to multiple third-party Matter networks (e.g. Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home), it may slightly decrease the device’s battery life due to additional communication across networks. Managing your tado° X devices in the tado° app and one other smart home platform shouldn’t noticeably affect battery life.
