Even if you are not manually interacting with the device, its display may wake up. This occurs whenever you trigger a manual change from the App and is called a Dazzle Mode.
Dazzle Mode allows the device's display to light up and show the setpoint and setpoint change.
This Mode is only available for Smart Thermostat X (2nd gen) and Wireless Temperature Sensor X (2nd gen).

Please note: When the battery is depleted, Dazzle Mode is not available.
How to enable/disable Dazzle Mode?
To enable/disable Dazzle Mode, follow these steps:
Go to Settings > Rooms & Devices
Select the respective device.
Toggle Dazzle Mode on or off.
Dazzle Mode on Smart Thermostat X (2nd gen) or Wireless Temperature Sensor X (2nd gen)
Is Dazzle Mode available when using tado° only with Smart Home (Matter) integrations?
No. When the device is only installed via a Smart Home (Matter) integration, Dazzle Mode will not be activated.
It can only be enabled once you start using the tado° app.
