Moving your tado° device
To move your Smart Thermostat X, Smart Radiator Thermostat X, or Wireless Temperature Sensor X from one room to another, open the tado° app and follow these steps:
Go to Settings > Rooms & Devices.
Select the device you’d like to move.
Select the name of the room where the device is currently installed to display the full list of rooms.
Select the room you’d like to move the device to.
Confirm your choice.
Note that each tado° device can only be assigned to one room at a time. If you remove all devices from a room, that room will automatically be deleted in the tado° app.
In some cases, you might not be able to assign your Smart Thermostat X to a new room. Specifically, a room in the tado° app can’t contain:
more than one Smart Thermostat X
more than one Wireless Temperature Sensor X
both a Smart Thermostat X and a Wireless Temperature Sensor X
