There is no limit to the number of Smart Radiator Thermostats X that can belong to a room in the tado° app. If a room’s heating is only controlled by Smart Radiator Thermostats X, the temperature shown in the app is an average of the measurements from all these devices. You can have a maximum of 20 devices connected to each tado° Thread border router (e.g. Bridge X, Heat Pump Optimizer X, or Wireless Receiver X). Connecting more than 20 devices may slow down network traffic and impact the overall performance of your system.

We also recommend adding a maximum of 30 tado° X devices to your Home in the tado° app. Exceeding this number may affect the app’s performance and usability.
