The tado° Heat Pump Optimizer X is compatible with Panasonic heat pumps. Here is some helpful information before you get started.
Deactivate the Weekly Timer feature
If you use the Weekly Timer on the Panasonic app, you’ll need to deactivate it. This will allow the Heat Pump Optimizer X to guide your heat pump instead.
Room thermostat deactivation
If you have any third-party room thermostat installed, tado° will automatically deactivate it when you install the Heat Pump Optimizer X. However, if you'd like to retain the benefits of a room thermostat and unlock additional tado° features, you can replace your room thermostat with the tado° Wireless Temperature Sensor X. Consult our installation instructions for removing your room thermostat.

Hydraulic balance ensures that the flow of water is distributed evenly amongst all radiators. This feature uses the tado° Smart Radiator Thermostats X to open the valves incrementally. The flow is limited to match radiator size, so that all radiators are supplied with sufficient water flow, resolving issues of any radiators receiving little or no water flow.
