If you have a Panasonic AQUAREA heat pump combined with a tado° Heat Pump Optimizer X, you will have access to the AQUAREA Sync feature. Thanks to the integration between tado° and Panasonic, the system provides more precise control tools than other heat pump combinations.
This feature provides the following key benefits:
Better heating efficiency by only activating your heat pump when there is actual demand for heat from a room.
Automatic schedule generated based on your room schedules. To manually edit your heat pump schedule, you switch to Heat Pump Guided mode by selecting the Heating tile, then the schedule icon in the tado° app.
Increased Coefficient of Performance (COP) through the ability to adjust the setpoint by +/- 5°C. According to your heating curve, this will reduce the heat pump’s target temperature and increase the Coefficient of Performance (COP). The control setpoint is based on the demand forwarded from the room controllers.
Making sure room temperature is reached by increasing the heat pump setpoint by 2°C if the room temperature is not reached after 60min. After room temperature is reached, the AQUAREA heat pump will resume normal operation.
