tado° can control many kinds of heating systems. The precise way tado° controls your system depends on which heating setup you have.

tado° devices usually either replace existing room thermostats, radiator thermostats and controllers or connect directly to the boiler or heat pump.

The examples below describe the recommended products for different heating systems.

A boiler usually supplies heating for the radiators and is controlled by a central room thermostat. The heating can also be supplied through central or district heating instead.
