If your radiators are enclosed (e.g., behind a curtain or furniture), or you have large rooms, the temperature shown in the app may be much higher than the actual room temperature. This is because the Smart Radiator Thermostat X measures the temperature right next to the radiator.
In such cases, you can make tado° take into account the difference between the actual and the measured temperature. This is called the temperature offset, and you can adjust it in the app.
However, to achieve a more accurate reading, you can install a Wireless Temperature Sensor X in a more central location in the room. This will measure and control the room temperature from that point. It can also act as a centralised manual controller for the Smart Radiator Thermostats X in the room.
