If you don't want the temperature to change when you turn the control knob on your Smart Radiator Thermostat X, you can activate Child Lock.
To activate/deactivate Child Lock in the app, follow these steps:
Open the tado° app.
Go to Settings > Rooms & Devices.
Select the Smart Radiator Thermostat X that you want to unlock.
Toggle Child Lock on/off.
If you don’t have access to the app at the moment, you can temporarily deactivate Child Lock manually, but please note that Child Lock will activate again as soon as the display goes idle. To permanently deactivate Child Lock, you need access to the app.
To temporarily deactivate Child Lock without the app, follow these steps:
Turn the control knob to wake up the display.
Turn the control knob in the other direction. If Child Lock is activated, a padlock icon and instructions will appear.
Tap and hold the screen for 5 seconds.
Tap and hold the screen for 3 seconds to confirm.
Now you can turn the control knob to adjust the target temperature.
