How can I unsubscribe from Smart Charging in the tado° app?

Your Smart Charging subscription is classified as an in-app purchase, so it's handled entirely by the App Store or the Google Play Store, depending on the device you use. For any assistance, please contact Apple or Google customer service to submit your request directly to them.

How to disconnect your car from the Smart Charging in the tado° app?

If you delete your tado° account, your car is disconnected automatically.

If you only want to disconnect your car, please follow these steps:

  • Select the Smart Charging tile on the Home Screen in the tado° app.

  • Go to the Settings in the upper right corner.

  • Click on Edit in the Linked vehicles & Chargers section.

  • Select the red minus banner next to the car you want to disconnect.

  • Click "Disconnect"
