Battery optimization settings can block data transmission between your mobile phone and tado°. This can affect the accuracy of Geofencing.
On Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco phones with Android 10 or higher, the battery optimization functions are very restrictive and sometimes keep the tado° app in sleep mode.
For this reason, we recommend that you disable battery optimization functions for the tado° app. This ensures optimal operation when the app is working in the background.
Turning off the battery optimization function for the tado° app
Open the Settings on your mobile phone.
Select Apps.
Select Manage apps.
Select tado° from the list, or use the search field.
Enable Autostart.
A pop-up message will appear. Allow Autostart by clicking OK.
Select Battery saver.
Select No restrictions.
