Help Center

You have access to hundreds of articles about tado° best practices and solutions, regularly updated based on customer feedback and designed to give you fully formed answers as directly as possible. Just type your question into the search bar.

We have a Help Center dedicated to V3+ and earlier tado° products, as well as a Help Center for the tado° X product line.

Community Forum

Visit the tado° Community Forum to find answers to niche questions, make feature requests, and enjoy peer-to-peer support from a growing community of experienced tado° users.

Live chat

Tap the round orange icon in the bottom right-hand corner to open a chat and select Messages > Send us a message to get support.

If you prefer, you can open a chat in the tado° app by going to More > Support.

Our support team can help you in English, German, French, Dutch, Italian, or Spanish. We use a live chat rather than a phone line so that we can connect with you faster and share useful links and pictures.

For emergencies

If you are experiencing issues related to installation, please remount your old devices. This way, you have access to heating and hot water and avoid an emergency while we help you resolve the issue. Then contact us via chat and select I have a question about the installation.

If you have an emergency (i.e. you are without heating or hot water), contact us via chat and select I have a technical question. Our support team will assist you as soon as possible.

If you’ve disabled functional cookies, you won’t be able to find the live chat.

To enable chat:

  1. Select the green shield icon on the bottom left of your screen.

  2. Toggle Functional Cookies to Always Active.

  3. Confirm your choice.

  4. If needed, refresh the page to update the changes, and you’ll then find the orange chat icon in the lower right corner of your screen.
